AIRSOFT | REVIEW | TBC | ZTAC Elite II Headset for Kenwood radio ( ENGLISH SUBS )

Hello and welcome to this video. Today I’m going to review this headset, which has been sent by our partner Airsoftpeak. You’ll find it under the reference 10563. In these two packages, you’ll find the headset and its band, and a u94 type PTT for Kenwood radios.

This headset is the tan version. This headset comes with its band not assembled, but it’s really easy to assemble it. This band is elastic, adaptable and really easy to wear. The microphone is also adaptable.

The headset is padded, making it confortable to wear. It has a military plug, here is a comparison between a military plug and a Cavalvy 5 pins plug. The PTT is made of medium quality plastic, and only have one button.

Metal pliers are present to put it on your vest. To plug it, push hard to connect everything correctly. THis PTT is made for Kenwood type radios, such as this Baofeng GT-3. But if the set looked fine, there is a big problem: the PTT doesn’t work.

The radio is swiched on, connected and settled to channel 7.2 (PMR446). I’m going to switch my old radio on and put it on channel 7.2. As you can see, the two radios are connected. However, nothing happens when I activate the u94 PTT Moreover, at maximum volume, the headset is really weak, and the volume increases when I press the button.

.. That’s why I’m really not pleased with this article, and I hope this problem is not common with Ztac PTTs. That’s all for this review, I hope you enjoyed it. See you soon for another video!
