Greetings. Today, review of the SRS Style sight scope by Aim-O Cheap copy of the SRS Trijicon scope Trijicon scope is 1200 USD, this copy is sold ~100 USD at AirsoftPeak.com The scope is well packaged, delivered with tissue, battery but no handbook It’s a nice looking scope, with no markings, and buttons to adjust red dot position and illumination It can be attached to a picatini rail in just a few seconds Like the original, this sight has a solar panel, allowing the sight to work without battery However, if you use the sight without battery, a single cloud will shut it off, as there is no internal capacity The red dot itself is accurate and has no optic issue.
This sight seems great, however I cannot recommend it, as it has a huge deformation issue Explanation: if you look at a target with one eye, there is a line of light between the target and the eye. If you add a sight, the line of light may stay straight or have a diffraction Diffraction is not always an issue, as you can adjust the red dot to make it for the diffraction The issue is that the SRS is a red dot sight, and red dot sights are used with both eyes open So, we have 2 rays of lights that do not go to the same point If you use this sight with both eyes open, there is an optic issue, just as if you were crossing eyes And nothing allows to fix this There is a huge diffraction effect, that we don’t have with other red dots I advise you not to buy the SRS scope by Aim-O.
Other manufacturers also provide this scope, I don’t know if they have the same issues. Bye
